If you’ve ever listened to me being interviewed or read one of my interviews, you’ve most likely heard me refer to my books as my babies. Well, that’s actually very true. I wasn’t blessed to have children for various reasons. By the time I found “The One,” I was in my late thirties. When my husband and I decided to start a family, my doctor told me my fibroids were not an issue, but my age was! Like a lot of women, I had bought into the Hollywood myth that a woman could get pregnant and give birth at any age. Not! After exhaustive research, I discovered that many of the forty-something actresses who were bearing their protruding bellies on the covers of popular magazines were using surrogates and Invitro. After trying out some of the latest technology myself, and failing, I finally gave up and accepted that God did not want me to have human children. What a gracious God we have. When one door closes, another one opens. God allowed me to still create, but with words. Thus, my books take on special meaning and like every mother, I’m protective of my children and cringe when anyone has anything negative to say about them and am filled with glee when someone gives my child a good report.
So far, readers have been in love with my daughter “Married in the Nick of Nine.” The five-star reviews on Amazon.com. keep rolling in. There was one recent review that gave me pause. It was signed P Diddy! Yes, P Diddy. Okay, I have to admit, when I read it, I thought to myself that someone was being funny. But then again, after reading the well-written review (see below), I began to realize that it could have actually been written by P. Diddy. Why not? The man does read and last year he released a book. Sure, it was a coffee table book about female backsides, but it was still a book! P Diddy, at the age 42, is worth over forty-million dollars. Needless to say, he’s smart, has dynamite business acumen, and knows a good thing when he reads it. I actually believe he penned the review. It makes sense that the title alone would get his attention. “Married in the Nick of Nine.” Many have questions about the icon and his single status. Will he ever get married? Will he ever marry Kim Porter, the mother of his twin girls? And if the title didn’t catch his eye, the cover surely would. P Diddy is a connoisseur of beautiful women. I could see him giving the bride on the cover the once over and a nod and two thumbs up. Yep, the more I think about it, the more I'm convinced that P. Diddy is the author of the five-star review below. With that said, “Mr. Diddy, thank you for such a great review. I would love to talk to you more about ‘Married in the Nick of Nine.’ Better yet, why I don’t have my people call your people. Yeah right! Just kidding. But on the real, call me P. Diddy! Call me. My contact info is on the website. www.Marriedinthenickofnine.com.”

When I first picked up this book my expectations weren't too high, but the story proved me wrong in an instant. This is by far the best book I've read all summer. Just when you think you know what's going to happen next you get thrown a curve ball. Just when you get mad and think all is lost, somehow the day is saved. Purchase this book, read it and encourage others to do the same. You won't be disappointed, that I guarantee. P Diddy.
